WHY BIG GAME BODY BAGS EXIST
While hunting Mule deer in Montana in 2021, I shot and tagged a buck in the last hours before returning to Idaho. We moved the deer to our side by side and attempted to stuff the deer in garbage bags to keep blood off our gear. The plan was to load the buck, then gut it at the trailer before our trip home.
Though we were both adults, we had a difficult time lifting and moving the buck into the back seat, fumbling, heaving, and still getting blood all over our gear, optics, guns, and clothes.
That’s when we realized we needed a bag with handles. In unison we looked at each and said, “a body bag for deer…”
